For the stage, the distance is 147.9 km, with the finish on Quai du Mont-Blanc in Geneva. The stage is also described as “flat,” but the finish is not straightforward, as the final stretch is more than 40 km long.
The stage, which is run on a flat course, is set to start at 14 h 20 from Aigle and arrive in Geneva at 17 h 56; the time trial for the riders is scheduled to start at 12 h 20 and the time trial for the riders is scheduled to start at 16 h 51.
The stage’s key moment is expected to be the top-10 riders in the general classification (GC). In particular, Lorena Wiebes is set to win the stage one sprint, while Kim Le Court and Demi Vollering are expected to finish third and fourth, respectively.
